Exchange Bank scored nine runs in the first-three innings and never looked back, beating Shelter Insurance 9-4 in Little League Softball Tuesday night in New Franklin.
Canna Rassa Jennings had the only hit in the game for Exchange Bank, being a single. Carly Dorson picked up the win in the circle for Exchange Bank by striking out nine batters in four innings.
For Shelter Insurance, Sophia Held had two singles while Faith Painter contributed one single.
Held took the loss in the circle for Shelter Insurance by giving up three runs on four walks while striking out two batters in one inning.

In machine pitch last Thursday in Little League softball at New Franklin, GKC-CPA’s rallied from a 9-7 deficit after 4 1/2 by exploding for six runs in the fifth to beat Shelter Insurance.
Justice Singleton led the hitting attack in the game for GKC-CPA’s with two singles, one double and one home run.
Jayna Matthews finished the game with four singles while Natalie Caszatt added three singles, Natalie Wiseman, Lilly Washburn and Hazel Schnell each with two singles and Chloe Chitwood and Kendall Wells with one single apiece.
