Beats C&R Market 11-6 to improve to 6-0 overall

A-Bow-K raised its season record to 6-0 by turning back C&R Market 11-6 in Midget League action Monday night at Kemper park.
While out-hitting C&R Market 6-2, A-Bow-K also led from start to finish while taking a 4-0 lead after one and a 6-2 advantage after three. Meanwhile, in the top-half of the fourth, A-Bow-K exploded for five runs to extend the lead to 11-2. However, in the bottom-half of the fourth, C&R Market rallied back with four runs to cut the lead back to five.
Isaac Herman picked up the win on the mound for A-Bow-K while Maddex Jackson took the loss for C&R Market, who dropped to 2-5. Herman pitched the first-three innings and struck out nine batters while giving up two runs on two hits and one walk. Landon Conz then came in and pitched 1/3 innings in relief and allowed four runs on seven walks while striking out one batter.
For C&R Market, Jackson pitched the first-three innings and gave up six runs on four hits and five walks while striking out six batters. Brayden Viertel then came in and pitched one inning in relief and issued five runs on two hits and two walks while striking out three.
Conz also had three hits in the game for A-Bow-K with a single, double, triple and four RBIs.
Landry Timm was 2-for-3 with a triple, home run and three RBIs while Karson Elbert added one triple and three RBIs and Gavin Schoen with one RBI.
For C&R Market, Brayden Viertel and Hayden Sandbothe each had one home run and two RBI while Daylen Harris and Josiah Hand added one RBI each.

Landry Timm went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and Landon Conz struck out five batters in two innings to lead A-Bow-K past Boonville Ready Mix Friday night in Midget League action at Kemper park.
Although A-Bow-K wound up winning the game by six runs, Boonville Ready Mix took the early lead with two runs in the bottom-half of the first.
However it was pretty much all A-Bow-K after that with nine unanswered runs over the next four innings to lead 9-2. Meanwhile, in the bottom-half of the fifth, Boonville Ready Mix sent another run across to round out the scoring.
Cox also gave up two runs on two hits and five walks in two innings of work for the win. Braydon Banuet took the loss for Boonville Ready Mix.
A-Bow-K also finished the game with six hits, Bryson Welch going 1-for-1 with a triple and four runs batted in. Conz had a double and one RBI while Karson Elbert added one single and one RBI, Isaac Herman with one single and Dylan McGuire, Donavin Atkins and Bryce Wassman each with one RBI.
For Boonville Ready Mix, Chase Chamberlain went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs while Braylon Banuet added one single.
