Herbert “Bud” C. Schneider, 81, of Boonville, died April 22, 2008 at Cooper County Memorial Hospital and Clinics.

Burial was held at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville with Jeff Rasmussen officiating.

Mr. Schneider was born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 20, 1926. He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert M. and Esther L. Crane Schneider, his sister June and his son Richard.

He was married to Marie Carolyn Seybold on Sept. 7, 1949. During WWll, Herbert served his country in the U.S. Army, later in the Nebraska National Guard attaining the rank of Master Sergeant and retired from the Civil Service. He also worked for Cuisinart, INC as a Technician in Tustin, Calif. He was a member of the United Church of Christ-Valley in Murrieta, Calif.    Throughout his life, Herbert enjoyed his family, Astronomy, and Lapidary.

Other survivors include;  one daughter:  Debra Anne Holve, and husband Kurt of Murrieta, Calif.; one daughter-in-law:  Connie Schneider of Boonville; five grandchildren: Aimee and Susan, Beth, Andrew Schneider and wife Sarah with daughter Nora, Jordan Mysliwiec and Erin Holve; five nieces and nephews.
