Sandra Kay Cook, 55, of Harrisburg, Mo., passed away April 29, 2008 at Boone Hospital Center.
A memorial service conducted by Rev. Louis Odneil will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 2, 2008 at Nilson Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
Sandra Kay Cook was born Nov. 15, 1952 in California, Mo., the daughter of Arthur and Helen Ernst Holliday. She married Alfred L. Cook Sept. 7, 1973 in Hallsville. She worked 30 years for State Farm Insurance, retiring in 1999. She loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing or anything having to do with her family and friends.
Survivors include; her husband, Alfred of Harrisburg. Her parents, of Prairie Home, Mo.; one son, James Cook of Mexico, Mo.; one daughter, Missy and husband, Vic Smith of Harrisburg; a brother, David Holliday of Fulton; a sister, Barbara Holliday of Prairie Home; three grandchildren, Brady Cook of Carthage, Ill., Aaron Smith of Harrisburg and Aidan Smith (arriving soon).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gateway chapter of the MS Society.
