Elvadene R. Greis, 95, of Columbia, Mo., formerly of Boonville, died April 28, 2008 at South Hampton Place. Visitation will be Thursday, May 1, 2008 from 3-3:30 p.m. at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boonville. Funeral Services will follow at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Frerking officiating.
Mrs. Greis was born in Lone Elm, Mo. on Aug. 20, 1912, the daughter of Andrew C. and Esther Brandes Smith, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married to William G. Greis, who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Elvadene was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Boonville.
Mrs. Greis was also preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Smith and one son-in-law, Bill Esely.
Survivors include: three daughters, Glenda Esely of Bethany, Mo., Sarah Klingbeil and husband Richard of Fulton, Mo., and June Cook and husband Richard of Boonville; one granddaughter, Sondra Klingbeil of Fulton and three step-grandchildren.
