David Earl Scott, 52, of Chula Vista, Calif. (formerly of Pilot Grove, Mo.) passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, April 30, 2008 in Chula Vista.
David’s remains will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at his home in Chula Vista.
He was born Nov. 22, 1955 in Hood River, Ore., the son of Edward E. and Virginia (Finley) Scott. He married Lupita Parra on Nov. 4, 1988 in San Diego, Calif. and she survives of the home.
David was a 1974 graduate of Pilot Grove High School, enlisted in the United States Marines and chose to make his home in California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one nephew and his maternal and paternal grandparents. His maternal grandparents were Milton and Martha Finley of Otterville, Mo. His paternal grandparents were Embra and Pearl Scott of Eldon, Mo.
David is also survived by one daughter, Dahrita, of the home; stepdaughters, Mayra and Serena; and three grandchildren. One brother, Richard Scott and wife Ruby of Eldon; two sisters, Patty Riggs and husband Robert of Cole Camp, Mo., and Terri Jo Scott of Jefferson City, Mo. also survive.
David will be sadly missed by all, including numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. We loved him dearly.
