Raymond Laurence Aggeler, 99, of Boonville died Monday, May 12, 2008, at Lakeview Health Care and Rehab Center in Boonville.


Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove, Mo. with Father Vince Aggeler and Father Tom Seifner officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin’s Cemetery near Boonville. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.


Pallbearers will be Larry Schupp, Jerry Schupp, Kevin Roth, David Neville, Jerome Wirths and Norbert Schuster.


He was born Sept. 2, 1908 in Cooper County, Mo. the son of Henry and Agnes Esser Aggeler. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove.


In 1936 he started the R.L. Aggeler Coal and Fertilizer Co. in Boonville that he ran for many years. He also worked for Hall and Riley Quarry in Boonville for a few years.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Cecilia Gerard and a brother, Leroy Aggeler.
He is survived by one brother, Emil Aggeler of Kansas City, Mo. and several nieces and nephews.


Arrangements are under the direction of Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
