Marie Helen Goodner, 68, of Pilot Grove, Mo. passed away on April 24, 2008 at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on May 1, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove, with Fr. Tom Seifner officiating. Burial will St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Pilot Grove.

Mrs. Goodner was born on Nov. 5, 1939 in Omaha, Neb. to Emil Sistek and Helen Biodrowski Sistek. She married Vernon Goodner on Nov. 24, 1962 in Omaha and he preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove and a member of the Altar Society. She was a member of the Red Hatters in Columbia, Mo. She was also a member of the Be Forever Young Club and the Jolly Elders in Sedalia, Mo. She liked going to the casino.

Mrs. Goodner is survived by two sisters, Rosemarie Pfeiffer of Nebraska City, Neb. and Helena Doll with husband, Tom of Omaha. She is also survived by her good friend Sharon Rentel; five nephews and one niece.

Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph’s Altar Society.
