Marvin Lee Schrader, 72, of Boonville, died April, 29, 2008 at his home.
The body was cremated. Graveside services will be held later at the Pilot Grove Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 13, 1936 in Pilot Grove, Mo. the son of Hardy and Ola Mae Nelson Schrader. On Sept. 13, 1956 he married Glenda Pierce and she died in 1972.
He was a member of the Pilot Grove Baptist Church and he served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for Freightliner in El Paso, Texas for 15 years as an auto and boat mechanic. He liked to hunt and fish with his two poodles, Rusty and Chocolate.
He was predeceased by one son, David Alan Schrader; one grandson, Marvin Lee Bader; and one sister, Eva Jo Schrader.
Survivors include four daughters, Kimberly Schrader of Boonville; Peggy Snyder of Toledo, Iowa; Connie Battazzi of Webster, Iowa; Jeri Lynn Andrews of Sigourney, Iowa. Three sisters, Bonnie Canida of Boonville; Shirley Minchew of Sunrise Beach, Mo.; Janis Schrader of Columbia, Mo.; and one brother, Billy Schrader of Laurie, Mo.; 9 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements under the direction of the Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
