Well known Fayette, Mo. resident Ronald Christian Mallinckrodt died unexpectedly at Cooper County Hospital in Boonville on Tuesday, April 22. He was 48 years of age.
Funeral services for Ron Mallinckrodt will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Gary Wrisberg officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 pm on Friday, April 25 at the funeral home.

Mr. Mallinckrodt was born in Fayette on Aug. 12, 1959. He was the son of Henry R. and Martha Shields Mallinckrodt. He attended Fayette Public Schools and later worked in the logging and lumber business as a sawmill operator for most of his life. He was greatly interested in the Howard County Fairgrounds and frequently helped with the activities that were held there.

On Oct. 12, 1985, he married Donna Dougherty at Unity Baptist Church. Mrs. Mallinckrodt survives of the family home in Fayette. Mr. Mallinckrodt was a member of Grace Fellowship Church.

Along with his wife, Mr. Mallinckrodt leaves two daughters; Kim Mallinckrodt and Teresa Mallinckrodt both of Fayette. Also surviving are his mother, Martha Marshall, his sister, Suzie Marriott, and his brother, Michael Mallinckrodt, all of Fayette.
