A Dollar General store expected to open this month in Boonville is one of 1,000 such stores to be built in the next year around the U.S.
The store will operate under a centralized control in Tennessee as part of the company’s effort to change its image and business model, according to a Boonville city ordinance.
The move to Ashley Road near the Kemper Greens development comes as part of a company initiative to locate buildings along major corridors, according to the ordinance.
