Boonville had an internationally renowned vocalist in town last weekend. Jody Kopine Bonin performed a benefit concert on Saturday afternoon to a packed house at Thespian Hall. The concert, titled “Tribute to a Lady: So Much Love, Such Great Songs,” was dedicated to her mother. Bonin, an alumnus of Ss. Peter and Paul High School, performed as a benefit to Ss. Peter and Paul School’s Continuing the Vision campaign for the school’s expansion project. Preliminary totals reveal over $11,000 was raised from the concert.
