In spite of opposition that surrounded the proposal of a WalMart Supercenter which surfaced in 2005, Boonville consumers will soon have more of a choice in where to shop. Rallies that were held opposing the retail giant are a distant memory now.
After four years of planning and the inconvenience of road closures and construction that it took to get the infrastructure built, Boonville has forty-eight days to go till shopping the WalMart Supercenter becomes a reality.
