Heather Rapp is senior director of marketing for the Isle of Capri Casino and Hotel in Boonville. Before moving to mid-Missouri, she worked for Isle of Capri casinos in Marquette, Iowa, and Davenport, Iowa.

A big change for casinos in Missouri has been the removal of the loss limit for players. Because of the change, the Boonville casino no longer requires gamblers to use a players card. While the change has not resulted in a large increase in revenue, it has made for a better experience for customers, Rapp said.

• How did you end up working in the field?

I started out working in gaming as a summer job and then ended up transferring colleges to continue working there. It’s never boring, it’s always a fast-pace environment.
