Children from Ss. Peter and Paul’s Early Childhood program recently took a walking fieldtrip to Missouri Life Magazine. “The preschoolers have been studying fiction and nonfiction literature since August in their daily reading experiences and so it was a fitting adventure to take a walking fieldtrip to Missouri Life and see just how a nonfiction magazine is made,” said teacher Connie Wilkinson. She said the office staff even printed a real magazine cover for each of the children with their personal photo on it, which they took when we first arrived. Many of the children’s family members attended the fieldtrip with the group of 20 preschoolers.
