Boonville, Mo. -

The Boonville Tourism Commission met on Wednesday afternoon for their monthly meeting, despite the fact that there weren’t enough board members for a quorum.

Chairperson Pat Billings and board member David Oswald were not able to vote on issues, due to the fact that there were not enough board members present; but they discussed several issues.

One issue discussed was Tourism Commission staff member Lisa McClary’s new position as executive cirector of the Chamber of Commerce. McClary said she took the position because she wants “to move Boonville forward.”

Currently, McClary’s position with the Tourism Commission is part-time. The new position with the chamber is a part-time job, as well.
