Cooper County Memorial Hospital Chief Executive Allen Wlado gave a deadline for getting the old billing, bills that were 18 months or older, corrected.

"On Jan. 1, 2011 I would like to have a clean start to management of accounts. We are zeroing on all these things," Waldo said.

Mike Conway, Hospital Board President, said that since the current billing system is fixed, a focus now is on the old bills that have not been taken care of.

"I believe that January 1 is a very realistic goal for completion," Conway said.

Brenda Campbell, Director of Support Services, gave a report about the hospital's community involvement.

"We are doing a lot of things about being involved in the community and that has been well received.,” Campbell said. “We attended the Cooper County Youth Fair and had a lot of positive responses.”
