The Cooper County Clerk’s office is in the process of performing a canvass of voter registration records for all precincts in the county, according to a news release from the office. The effort is being made in accordance with the law, which states this must be done every two years. Registered voters in Cooper County are to receive a voter identification card as part of the process.

Individuals should review the card for accuracy, the release states. If a voter has moved, an updated address will be needed. People can make changes by filling out the back of the card, signing it and returning it to the clerk’s office.

Those who have not received an identification card are asked to call the clerk’s office at 660-882-2114.
