Boonville, Mo. -

A clothing give-away will be held Saturday, July 26 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Boonville. The give-away will take place in the church basement from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. The event, sponsored by Clark’s For Trinity Lutheran, Zion Lutheran and St. John’s Lutheran in Ellisville, Mo., has given away free clothes to those in need for the past several years.

“We are still accepting clothing,” said Roberta Cook, event coordinator. “If someone had a garage sale last weekend and would like to drop unsold clothing at Immanuel Lutheran I will be there Thursday at 6:30 p.m. or they can call me.” The church is located at 1001 Immanuel Dr. in Boonville.

The give-away is part of the Mission Commission Annual Servant Event that is hosted by Zion Lutheran Church in Lone Elm, Mo. There are a number of other projects that take place over the weekend of July 25-27 to help people in the community.
