Boonville High School will highlight students’ work at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Creative Showcase 2008.

The event is “an opportunity to ‘showcase’ students’ talents,” acccording to Abby Courtney, communications arts teacher at the high school.

The event will be held at the Boonville High School gym and will include a number of displays, including poetry readings, art displays and the sale of “Sideburn Fury,” the spring literary magazine. The magazine is put together by the Creative Writing class and sells for $5.
