Boonville council members weigh in on Kemper Village

Third Ward Councilman Chris Hombs said he will vote to approve plans for a subsidized housing development in Boonville if he has confidence the management group will properly maintain the property.

Boonville City Council is expected to vote on a preliminary site plan for Kemper Village Homes at a meeting that begins at 7 p.m. today at City Hall.

Also today:

  • Third Ward Councilman Pete Soener said he will wait  until after the public comment portion of the meeting before making a final decision on his vote.
  • First Ward Councilman Glenwood Einspahr declined to say how he planned to vote.
  • None of the other council members could immediately be reached for comment.
