JEFFERSON CITY, MO – The Missouri Gaming Association is inviting high school students to create articles, posters or videos on the issue of preventing underage gambling for the 14th annual “Project 21 Scholarship” competition. The Missouri Gaming Association will award six scholarships totaling $7,000.

“Our goal is to educate youth that it is not permissible for anyone under the age of 21 to gamble in a Missouri casino, and to warn them about the dangers and consequences of underage gambling,” said Mike Winter, executive director of the Missouri Gaming Association.

The scholarship competition is open to all Missouri high school seniors who plan to attend an institution of higher education in the United States. The scholarship guidelines and application are available at www.missouricasinos.org.
