Kristin Finders of Central Missouri Community Action in Boonville said she loves community involvement and hopes to bring the community together with one goal of eradicating poverty.
“I have always wanted to work in the community action level. I firmly believe in the power that we can have if we work together,” Finders said.
- What is a typical day like for you?
Finders said there is not typical day at her office. The days consist of programs and helping people in need.
“We give out applications for energy assistance, of which covers all sources of energy and weatherization programs to assist people in creating a more energy-efficient home,” Finders said.
