Saturday
Arrow Rock State Historic Site will host Dutch Oven Cooking. You must register by calling 660-837-3330.

Arrow Rock kicks off the Labor Day weekend with a delicious combination: the annual Folk Jam acoustic concert and the popular Ice Cream Freeze-Off. The free concert begins at 1 p.m., and runs until folks get tired of singing. A stage will be set up on the Old Schoolhouse garden. There will be tables and chairs in the garden area, or spectators may bring their own lawn chairs or blankets and relax on the Schoolhouse lawn.

At 3 p.m., the musicians will take a break as the Historic Arrow Rock Council hosts its annual Ice Cream Freeze-Off on the Schoolhouse lawn.

Sunday

St. Joseph Parish Homecoming Picnic will be held at 407 Harris Street, Pilot Grove from 4 - 8 p.m., featuring games of all types and dancing from 8 - 10 p.m. In case of rain, dinner will be held indoors.

The Annual Frieling Reunion will be held at Harley Park Shelter House #2 at 12 Noon.
