CCPHC offers extended walk-in clinics for kindergarten immunizations

The Cooper County Public Health Center is extending open immunization days for all children who need a second Varicella/Chicken Pox immunization and/or who are entering kindergarten.


The Center for Disease Control recommends a booster Chicken Pox or Varicella immunization. Any children who have not had any Chicken Pox/Varicella vaccine or a booster dose are encouraged to come to the CCPHC during the open time periods. An appointment is not necessary and walk-ins are welcome. Those needing a specific appointment may call the office at 882-2626.


The open walk-in times are:
• Thursday, April 3 from 1-4 p.m.;
• Friday, April 4 from 9 to 11:30  a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.; and
• Monday, April 7 from 9 to 11:30  a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.
