A fire Monday night at a concession shack near the Kemper Military School football field left the structure in ashes.

Boonville Fire Chief Tim Carmichael said that there was electrical connections to the vacant building and that they could have been the cause. He also said someone could have intentionally set the fire.

“It was totally destroyed,” Carmichael said. “There was nothng you can get in there and find.”

He said there would be no investigation done by his department but that anyone with information should contact the Boonville Police Department.
