A ribbon cutting was held Friday morning as a celebration of AT&T's continued growth in mobile broadband coverage.
The activation of a new mobile broadband cell site in Bunceton on Friday should enhance coverage for residents and businesses in that area.
With mobile broadband speeds, AT&T customers in that area can now surf the Web, download files faster and use mobile applications.
"Customers in rural areas such as Bunceton want the same mobile connectivity as those in major cities," said Missouri's AT&T president John Sondag. "With this expansion, our customers living and traveling near Bunceton can now enjoy cutting-edge smartphones, tablets and laptops while using an amazing array of applications."
Rep. Caleb Jones (R-California) and Sen. Bill Stouffer (R-Napton) attended the event.
