Tell me how you ended up at Boonville High School.
I have always loved the area, and when the position came open I thought it would be perfect. Everyone I talked to had amazing things to say about the school and the district, and Boonville High School has a staff that I really wanted to be a part of. Plus, it’s right in between St. Louis and Kansas so my family and I can watch the Cardinals and Royals.
What is most exciting about the new position?
Getting to meet the students and staff.
In several sentences, explain how and why you decided to become an educator.
Throughout my life, there have been many people who inspired me to be successful. When I had to choose a career path, I reflected on the most influential people in my life and most of them were teachers and coaches. I thought it would be great to have the ability to impact someone’s life as they did mine.
