FEB. 3, 2010 -- The Department of Natural Resources' Division of Energy has issued $200,822 in weatherization subgrant funds to Central Missouri Community Action to help low income Missourians reduce home energy costs.
The Central Missouri Community Action, or CMCA, is one of 18 Missouri agencies that implement the state's Low Income Weatherization Assistance Program, enabling low-income Missouri families to permanently reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient. CMCA serves eight central Missouri counties: Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau and Osage.
