A man that had been conning money out of Columbia churches, businesses and residents has struck Boonville.

Captain Don Smith of the Boonville Police Department, reported that Alan Farha has worked his con on least one Boonville church. Smith said that after recognizing Farha on the news, a local church contacted the Boonville Police Department and said that Farha had been there asking for money.

Farha is described as 6 foot  and 200 lbs. He may also now have shorter hair and be clean shaven. Smith said one witness believes that they may have witnessed Farha in a blue and gray mini-van.

Those who see Farha or believe that they may have been a victim, are urged to call the Boonville Police Department at 882-2727.
