Students in Donna Goff’s third-grade class at David Barton Elementary School in Boonville recently wrote about their favorite things. Here are some of their thoughts, as shared in the school’s newsletter:

“I love to play with my new puppy I got yesterday.  It is a girl.  One of my mom’s friends gave it to her.  The dog is seven months old.  I also like to go fishing.  The first fish I caught was a rainbow fish.”
Gabriel Bullard

“I like to go in the woods and find mushrooms and frogs and toads.  I also like to find lakes and creeks too.  I also like to swing on vines.  I saw crocodiles too and nature is awesome!  the crocodiles were mean.  We ran away.  I was scared.  I stayed home.”
