NEWS RELEASE: Symposium on Bingham's art in Columbia

The State Historical Society of Missouri plans to host a mini symposium on the public reception of the art of George Caleb Bingham at 5:30 p.m. on July 20, 2010.

This symposium is presented in conjunction with the Society’s project to publish the letters of George Caleb Bingham in 2011 through the support of the Friends of Arrow Rock, Inc., and the Harriet Pillsbury Foundation.

The event is free and open to the public.

It takes place at the Main Gallery on the ground floor of Ellis Library on Hitt Street at Lowry Mall on the MU campus in Columbia.
