The Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual membership campaign March 11 and 12, gaining 20 new members. Four teams of volunteers called prospective and non-renewing members. Mike Magyar of State Farm Insurance chaired this year’s event, with assistance from team leaders Gayla Smith of Citizens Community Bank, Mandy Eichelberger of W.J.’s, Sarah Anderson of UMB Bank and Sherri Kempf of the Cooper County License Bureau.
New Chamber members include: Anderson Surveying, Backroads Restaurant of Blackwater, Boonville Abstract, Cooper County Republican Club, Duff Plumbing, Fresh Aire Productions Co., Girlfriends Vintage Collectibles, High Street Victorian Bed and Breakfast, Home Theater, In and Out Convenience Store, Infinity Massage, Koonse Painting, Ray’s Place, Andrea J. Reuter, DVM, Schlotzhauer Auto, Jack Terrell, Timeless Creations, Nancy Whalen, Jerry and Judy Wolfe and Stephanie and Bill Young.
Those volunteering on the teams included Eric Kraus, Denise Waller, Nancy Fisher, John Holtclaw, Sherry Broyles, Craig Meyer, Jack Terrell, Vicki McCarrell, Kelly Fray, Ed Scrivner and Paul Davis.
Kempf’s team – including Fray, Scrivner and Davis – collected 65 percent of the memberships.
