Boonville City Council to discuss finances, Caterpillar

The Boonville City Council is scheduled to meet twice Monday for a financial update and to hear the first reading of a bill regarding a proposed settlement agreement with Caterpillar over a personal property tax protest, according to agendas provided by the city.

The council also is expected to:

get updates about projects such as the new Boonville Fire Station

hear the first reading of a bill that would create the Boonville Highway 5 Community Improvement District

hear the first reading of a bill to approve an MFA Oil Company fertilizer facility

WHEN: 5:45 work session; 7 p.m. public hearing about the proposed creation of the community improvement district, with the regular meeting to follow.

WHERE: City Hall, 525 E. Spring St. in downtown Boonville
