On February 24th, officers with the Boonville Police Department searched two neighboring residences in the 500 block of West Street in Boonville after learning of marijuana growing inside the houses.
Officers seized 240 marijuana plants in various stages of growth and nearly 30 pounds of processed marijuana as well as brownies and candies made with marijuana. Also, seized were several light sources and other equipment for growing processing, and packaging marijuana.
Arrested at the scene were 55-year-old Robert Adam Morrison and 60-year-old Deborah Helen Hombs.
Warrants issued for their arrest charge them with: Accessory Manufacture of Controlled Substance-Felony B; Accessory Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Felony C; Accessory Unlawful Possession of Firearm-Felony E; Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia-Misdemeanor D; Accessory Manufacture of Controlled Substance Near School-Felony B; Accessory Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Felony C; and Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia-Misdemeanor D.
All people are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
