BOONVILLE – Boonslick Technical Education Center was recognized with the Outstanding Agricultural Education Program Award for their accomplishments during the Missouri Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association (MVATA) Conference in Springfield, Missouri this summer.  The Outstanding Agricultural Education Program Award is given to the top agriculture education program for their teacher’s involvement in professional activities and meeting the educational needs of their students.  The award also takes into account community service projects, FFA and student successes, and the positive influence the agriculture program has on the school and community.  The George Clarke Missouri State Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (sponsoring organization) presented a plaque to the recipient at the MVATA banquet.
