BOONVILLE —Boonville Kiwanis Club is excited to be working to help local students come back to school ready to study for the third year. School supplies will be distributed at Lions Park on Sunday, August 6 from 1 – 3 p.m. Supplies will be available utilizing supply lists for students K-5 from the Boonville Public Schools.
Supplies will be given to any student who shows up as supplies last. Last year the club was able to donate over 360 supply packs to local children and they are prepared to do more this year.
“It is our hope to bring the community together as one family to support our children on their return to school and celebrate,” Kiwanis Club President, Matt Peiter said.
In addition to free school supplies, the kids will be treated to free food from Morgan Street Baptist Church and free haircuts from Uptown Girlz and Intensive Hair.
Please contact Sam Giroux from the Kiwanis Club at 573-825-8776 for more information or if you would like to donate. Visit and follow Boonville Kiwanis Club on Facebook for updates and more information.
