The PG Players will present “The Education of Angels” by Matthew Carlin Saturday night, March 18, at 6 p.m., at the Pilot Grove High School.
A comedy-fantasy in two acts, two angels-in-training return to Earth for their final exam. The problem is, Nick and Jenna can’t seem to get along. They find Dave, who is as mixed up as they are, trying to decide if he should go through with his wedding. Add a domineering ex-wife and the fact that Dave is the only one who can see only one of the angels and … well, you get the picture.
On a serious note, though, Nick struggles to understand why he’s back on Earth and why he is an angel in the first place.
Angels Nick and Jenna are played by Randy Glenn and Shannon Twenter.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and the play begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance at the Pilot Grove Co-op or at the door. All proceeds benefit the Pilot Grove Community Center and will go toward the purchase of new tables and chairs.
