Boonville's Missouri River arts festival to feature Paremski

 In selecting the musicians for this year's Missouri River Festival of the Arts in Boonville, artistic director David Halen said, he aimed for younger, emerging artists.This year features performances from soprano Mary Jane Lee and pianist Natasha Paremski, who are both 23 years old.

Ward Stare, the resident conductor of the St. Louis Symphony, will conduct the orchestra. Halen said he considers Stare a rising star on the national scene.

“These are people who will be music directors or singers at the Metropolitan Opera but you get to see them when their careers are just emerging,” Halen said.

TICKETS: Reserved seating for performances is $15 to $24. Student, group and series tickets are available. Patron seats are also available. They may be purchased online at friends
