Some freezing drizzle and snow flurries are possible after midnight in Cooper and Howard counties, according to a National Weather Service statement.

"While confidence is low for this to occur, any freezing drizzle could result in a very thin glazing of ice and result in slick roadways," this afternoon's hazardous weather outlook stated.

Freezing drizzle also is possible early Saturday but would turn to flurries later in the morning, according to the statement.

The next round of moisture is possible late Tuesday, when a storm from the West is expected to come through Missouri.

"This system will have enough moisture with it to support significant amounts of precipitation, which could arrive as early as Tuesday evening in the form of rain and/or snow," according to the statement.
