Boonville -

The night showing of the new Connie Stevens film “Saving Grace B. Jones” on Saturday in Boonville is sold out, but some tickets remained for the matinee, a city official said Thursday afternoon.

Online ticket sales for the two-hour movie shot in Boonville were to end at noon today, but any remaining tickets should be available to purchase at Thespian Hall on Saturday afternoon, said Sarah Gallagher, the city’s economic developer. It’s possible that a few additional tickets will be available at the 5:30 p.m. showing, she said.

Stevens is expected to be at both showings along with cast members, Gallagher said. They are expected to be present at the start of the 2:30 p.m. show. Later, Stevens and the cast members are to arrive sequentially — and in formal dress — between 5 and 5:30 p.m. for the event that is to feature big lights, a red carpet and velvet ropes.
