Dear Boonville,
I can almost taste the giblet gravy.
Mmm — goes great on cornbread dressing.
It’s a personal Thanksgiving favorite of mine, and at least some people I know don’t like it.
Like you, I don’t understand where they’re coming from. I mean, I’m pretty sure royalty dines on this stuff, probably every day. I guess that at the very least I can brag about having refined taste.
Thankfully, my mom and one of my adoptive Missouri grandmas, Mama, make that gravy to perfection.
This Thanksgiving, I hope you get to savor a favorite dish with loved ones.
