Jodie D. Sells, 100, of Prairie Home, passed away at Cooper County Memorial Hospital on Monday, Nov. 9, 2009.
Visitation for Mr. Sells will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 o’clock with a Masonic Service at 7:30p.m. Friends may call from noon until time of the visitation. Funeral services will be held at Prairie Home Methodist Church on Friday, Nov.13 at 10a.m. with Rev. Janet Deneke and Rev. Lewis Odneal officiating. Burial will follow at the Harris Cemetery at Prairie Home with Jodie’s seven grandsons as pallbearers.
Jodie Dalton Sells was born in Splice Creek, MO in Moniteau County Oct. 30, 1909, the son of Edward Sells and Mary Martin Sells.
