Redfern arraigned following Cooper County grand jury indictment

Karen Redfern was arraigned this morning on a grand jury indictment in connection with the August death of a Eureka road worker in Boonville.

The arraignment happened at about 10:15 a.m. in Division I of the 18th Circuit Court for Cooper County in front of Judge Robert Koffman.

Redfern, of Boonville, was indicted Thursday by a Cooper County grand jury on charges of involuntary manslaughter, attempted leaving the scene of an accident, first-degree property damage, two counts of careless and imprudent driving, and aggravated endangerment of a highway worker, stated Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Scott Fox  in an e-mail on Sunday.
