Jessi Simmons started a few months ago as the new cook at the Boonslick Senior Center in Boonville. Before starting at the center, she was the manager at Casey’s Restaurant in Glasgow and had worked at a correctional facility.
- How did you end up working in the field?
From the time I was young, I always wanted to be a chef. We would have family cookouts, and my mom and dad used to cater parties and weddings, and I would always help out.
