"University of Missouri Extension for Cooper County is seeking two outstanding candidates for District 2"--a zip code outside 65233, but still in the county-- according to Dudley Kaiser, council chair.

"The term is for two years," he noted. "We are especially interested in candidates that have a strong commitment to the community, who are concerned and wish to work to oversee Extension programming that improves the lives of Cooper Countians, and who would enjoy the educational opportunities service on the council provides."

Residents must let the Extension Center (882-5661) know by Monday, December 21,  if they wish to be placed on the ballot or send an e-mail to: cooperco@missouri.edu.
