Boonville, Mo. -

Art and history. That was the theme of the Boonville Mural Project that L.S.E. students participated in on Friday. The mural project is part of the Best of Missouri Life Festival that is happening this weekend in downtown Boonville.

Stuart Morse, from the Morse Group was at the school on Friday instructing the kids on how the project will work. Each student was given an 8-inch  by 8-inch wooden block and a paint brush. They were also given a theme. Sixth graders, who were first up, painted pictures of Native Americans in Missouri. The kids were able to paint anything that they wanted to convey their idea of the topic.
