Want something to do on a Saturday? Enjoy the air-conditioned comfort of the Historic Katy Depot at 600 E 3rd Sedalia and watch demonstrations from the loom, Japanese braiding, sketch artists, photography and more. Visit with the artists to understand their craft.
The free demonstrations will be held Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Every Saturday will feature new artisans. Please call 660-826-2932 for a list of featured artisans.
Artesian paintings, sketches, metal pieces and more will be on display Weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the entire month of July.
Some of the artists include:
- Sylva Hopkins: hats and huggies July 9
- Nancy Sams: silver jewelry making July 9 and 23
- Libby Ritter: sculpture July 9 and 23
- Linda Rhodes: paint in watercolors July 9 and 30
- Kathy Menefee: Water color July 9 and 30
- Neva Wood: Water color July 16
