CC Republicans hold annual Lincoln Days Celebration

Missouri State Senator Eric Schmitt was the keynote speaker for the Cooper County Republicans Annual Lincoln Days celebration.
Among the guests were included Randy Asbury, who is a candidate for Missouri governor.
"I will conclude here with three things. We must return to God. We must return to the limited constitutional understating of our founding fathers and we must return to free-market principles," Asbury said.
The event was held on March 28 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, which boasted a 120-person turnout.
Lincoln Days gives county Republicans a chance to hear what is going on in state and national government. Each year, the party gets a keynote speaker who speaks on issues effecting the area in great detail.
The meal was prepared by the Cooper County Cattlemen’s and Country Cuisine.
