Cooper County Memorial Hospital announces new interim CEO
BOONVILLE–Cooper County Memorial Hospital (CCHM) announced Wednesday that its board of directors has accepted the resignation of Allen Waldo as Chief Executive Officer, effective Thursday. Waldo is leaving after serving more than four years as the hospital’s CEO. During his tenure, Waldo, was a hard working, community minded CEO providing meaningful contributions to the hospital.
The board has announced that Jerry Howell has been named Interim CEO as CCMH begins consideration of a permanent successor. Howell brings over 30 years of healthcare and executive leadership experience to CCHM. Howell’s skills and abilities in: fiscal management, physician relations/integration, operational enhancement, productivity growth, quality improvement and patient satisfaction have allowed him continued success over his career. Most recently, Howell has led the turnaround of a 46 bed hospital in Oklahoma.
